Central Park West from Columbus Circle to Summit Rock (in 2 parts)

This is a walk that will be in two parts on two different days, Friday and Sunday. Part 1 will be “Central Park West from Columbus Circle to the Majestic (at 72nd Street).” Part 2 will be “Central Park West from the Dakota (at 72nd Street) to Summit Rock inside Central Park.” The focus will be on the buildings but there will be some discussion of some elements of the Park. The terrain will be flat except for when we enter the Park to ascend Summit Rock which is the highest point in the park and which involves a fairly steep climb.
