Christmastime on Arthur Avenue in the Bronx-CANCELED

With Alexandra Maruri

[In-person tour] Residents of the Italian-American neighborhoods along Arthur Avenue in the Bronx are the guardians of what some would call New York’s “real Little Italy.” Home to Doo-Wop music and authentic Italian restaurants and shops, many of the area’s businesses have been family owned and operated for generations. The neighborhood is especially charming and festively decorated for the Christmas season! Join guide Alexandra Maruri to explore the history of this vibrant Bronx neighborhood bustling with long-standing neighborhood delis, pastry shops, restaurants, the Arthur Avenue Market, and more. (This tour may venture indoors.)

MAS in-person tours last approximately 90 minutes to 2 hours and are held outdoors, therefore no masks are required. If you prefer to wear a mask, though, we want you to feel comfortable doing so. Meeting location is provided with registration. With rare exceptions, MAS in-person tours take place rain or shine.

For all tours, there are no refunds, cancellations, or exchanges unless we cancel a tour. Online registration closes one hour prior to the tour start time.
