Canceled: East 60th Street

From Start to Finish

With Francis Morrone

Please note — In response to concerns about coronavirus, the Municipal Art Society has made the difficult decision to cancel this tour.

The eight or so (it all depends how you count) blocks of 60th Street between the East River and Central Park yield a wealth of architectural delights and dramatic views. Along the way we’ll occasionally detour to 61st and 59th Streets. Highlights include the Metropolitan Club, the Harmonie Club, Bloomingdale’s, Christ Church by Ralph Adams Cram, the Grolier Club by Bertram Grosvenor Goodhue, the General Sherman Monument, and the Queensboro Bridge and Bridgemarket.
