East Village Building Blocks is an online web tool created by Village Preservation that provides invaluable information about over 2,200 properties in the East Village, including each building’s date of construction, original architect, original use, and more. The tool features nearly 20 themed tours to explore, on topics including Loisaida, African American History, Kleindeutschland, Off-Off-Broadway Theaters, and LGBTQ Sites.
