NYC is part of where the last glacier stopped, dumping mountains of material that had been dragged across the continent. In Brooklyn, it led to place names like Bay Ridge and Crown Heights. We’ll use the topographical logic of the ridge line to explore neighborhoods and park land, like Green Wood Cemetery, in mid Brooklyn. How’s it feel at the top? Is there a counterpoint to the shared geography of New York’s coastal flood zones? Eating, too.
