Biking Exploration: 11 AM – 2 PM
Join a biking tour like no other! This historic tour of the Hunts Point community is led by community leaders and artists whose expertise will Expose hidden gems in public art and, the history of the area, the flash points of environmental and social justice and injustice in Hunts Point, South Bronx. Bike through the city’s heart of manufacturing and food distribution, a hub of arts and activism, and the birthplace of hip-hop.

Accessibility

The bike tour is an ambitious ramble through an industrial neighborhood. It has its challenges and is not always pretty. We have chosen Sunday because the truck traffic is radically reduced than on other days. THE POINT is located 3 blocks away from the 6 Train (Hunts Point Station). Walking is more harrowing than usual with added construction on the Bruckner Expressway. CitiBike is prevalent in the neighborhood.

Location Information
