Canceled: Learn to Lead a Jane’s Walk with NYPL!

With Andy McCarthy, Reference Librarian at the Milstein Division of US History, Local History, and Genealogy at NYPL

Please note — In response to concerns about coronavirus, the Municipal Art Society has made the difficult decision to postpone or cancel all MAS events scheduled for the remainder of the month of March.

We were truly looking forward to gathering with you and the NYPL to share tips and best practices for leading a Jane’s Walk. We apologize for the inconvenience and hope you will understand that this decision was made in the interest of our collective health and safety as a city.

There are many resources available on the Jane’s Walk page, including a Training Guide and instructions for how to access an audio-based training tour in the Urban Archive app.

MAS still intends to hold a training tour with NYPL in April for confirmed Jane’s Walk leaders. Walks can be submitted on the Jane’s Walk website hereJane’s Walk is expected to continue as planned the weekend of May 1–3.

Thank you for your ongoing support of MAS.
