Now in its tenth year, Jane’s Walk NYC is an annual festival of free, volunteer-led walking tours inspired by urban activist Jane Jacobs. Whether you’re a seasoned participant or new to the celebration, we hope you’ll consider leading a walk this year. We’re looking for New Yorkers who are passionate about sharing neighborhood stories, discovering unseen aspects of their communities, and connecting with visitors and neighbors alike.
This year, we have a special launch event planned with New York City Public Advocate Jumaane Williams and New York Public Library. Join us on Friday, February 21, at the Hamilton Grange Library to connect with past and future Jane’s Walk leaders and learn how to bring Jane’s Walk to your neighborhood.
Light refreshments will be served.
Friday, February 21 6:00 PM — 8:00 PM
