Explore our city with a curated librarian-led walking tour!

Join Ottendorfer Library on this one-hour walking tour where we will explore the rich history of the East Village and the place of libraries during a time of immense social change. Lower Manhattan evolved from neighborhoods of toney townhouses to tenements and factories. Social conflict ensued. This tour will begin at the Ottendorfer Library and end at the New York Marble Cemetery.

Registration is strongly recommended. We will meet in front of the library at 11:45 AM
