Midtown Galleries and Public Art

Midtown Manhattan has a long tradition of being a center of the New York art scene, with MoMA and the Guggenheim Museum starting out on Fifth Avenue and art dealers settling near by. Today there still is a wonderful variety of art galleries to explore, and so much public art throughout the area as well.
