We will begin our tour at Times Square. We will discuss the history of Longacre Square, from its time as an Indian trail today. We will also talk about how the history of Manhattan’s grid system, which started in 1811. Then, we will walk over to Bryant Park. There, we will discuss the park’s history as a Potters Field, the growth of the NYC population in the 1800s, Croton Reservoir, and the history of the NY Public Library. Finally, we will walk to Grand Central Terminal and discuss its history.
