Hosted by Rooftop Films
The Municipal Art Society of New York is proud to be co-presenting Rooftop Films’s short film screening, Poetic Portraits. Join us on the roof of Gowanus’ historic Old American Can Factory for a beguiling night of docu-shorts that explore the depths of the human experience. Wade into the waters of Toni Morrison’s prolific prose, look behind the curtain of an emotional day at a medical center, and undergo a week-long boot camp for girls in Copenhagen. Dually immersive and challenging, let yourself fall in and out of the worlds depicted by these exceptionally poetic filmmakers.
