River-to-River: 14th Street (Part 1 – East)

With cars mostly banned, 14th Street deserves another look. From the former Gas House District to Union Square and Fifth Avenue, join Matt Postal to consider some of this cross-town artery’s most intriguing and eye-catching structures, including 19th century houses of worship, several cast-iron emporia, early skyscrapers, and the recently-completed New School University Center.
