Pleasant Village, the unofficial name of the proposed historic district in East Harlem, was built between the end of the Civil War and the beginning of World War 1. The founding members of Landmark East Harlem will walk you through the neighborhoods architectural streetscapes and introduce you to some longtime residents and the immigrant culture that East Harlem is famous for.
