[In-person tour] In the first decades of twentieth century, Union Square and Madison Square attracted some of Manhattan’s most distinctive skyscrapers. While some of these towers are deservedly quite famous, such as the Flatiron and Metropolitan Life Buildings, others are less known and deserve recognition, including impressive works by John Edelmann, friend and mentor of Louis Sullivan, as well as Warren & Wetmore, Bruce Price, and Cass Gilbert. Led by architecture historian Matt Postal.
