[In-person tour] Track the history of this vibrant and ever-changing transit hub, from the 1830s Murray Hill tunnel to Pershing Square and One Vanderbilt (Avenue).Architectural historian Matt Postal leads a walking tour that visits the recently-opened Long Island Railroad concourse (aka Grand Central Madison), as well as the evolving network of passageways that connect Warren & Wetmore’s always grand Beaux Art terminal to the historic Yale Club, Chrysler and Pan Am Buildings, as well as 270 Park Avenue, a towering new headquarters for J. P. Morgan Chase.
