The Supertall Skyscrapers of Billionaire’s Row: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly

Janes Walk

CANCELED

Led By Eric Nash

This walk will cover the 5 new supertall skyscrapers (more than 1,000 feet tall) along 57th Street (aka) Billionaire’s Row, based on my forthcoming book, “Sky-High: A Critique of NYC’s Supertall Towers” (Princeton Architectural Press), 6/23/23. Attendees should bring camera, water, and comfortable shoes for an in-person walking tour, and will learn about the structural engineering marvels of the supertalls, including 432 Park Avenue; 111 W.57th Street (the skinniest skyscraper in the world); 53W53; One57; and Central Park Tower, the tallest residential building in the Western Hemisphere.
