Janes Walk

SOLD OUT

Led By Pauline Toole, Commissioner, Department of Records & Information

The NYC Department of Records & Information Services/Municipal Archives invites you to explore our new state of the art storage and research facility at Industry City and learn about our ongoing effort to engage communities like Sunset Park in preserving their memories for future generations.

Participate in a curated tour of unique archival artifacts, from Mayoral scrapbooks and gifts to photos and historical records of city life. You will also learn about an inspiring initiative, Neighborhood Stories, which gathers oral-history style interviews with everyday New Yorkers and preserves them in the collections of the Municipal Archives.

Ready to share your memories of life in New York City? Sign up here to record an interview with Neighborhood Stories: https://bit.ly/3uw7eOQ. Visit our website: https://www.archives.nyc/neighborhoodstories.
