Touring Restored Tidal Wetlands of the Bronx

Janes Walk

Led By Ellen Hartig, Wetland Scientist, NYC Parks

Join us for a virtual tour of Bronx salt marsh restoration sites. Take a 2-mile trip to see three completed projects, plus one that is in design. Find out how we manage salt marshes for more wildlife habitat, recreation, learning, and protection from future sea-level rise. We will check the Throgs Neck tide tables and be there close to low tide, bringing binoculars, and staying on the pedestrian walkways except when we are monitoring or planting!
