Treasures of “The East”

Janes Walk

Led By Farrah Lafontant and Zulmilena Then, Preserving East NY

Join Zulmilena Then and Farrah Lafontant of Preserving East New York (PENY), a group recently formed to protect the architectural treasures East New York. An exploration of the historic and cultural gems that makes this community a vibrant and special place. East New York, together with nearby Cypress Hills, are the first communities to go under the City’s major rezoning plan, which may threaten both of the neighborhood’s historic buildings.
