Come off the grid and ramble the alleyways, mews and cobblestone streets of this wonderful neighborhood. We’ll discuss the history of Washington Square Park and it’s environs and learn about the connection that Thomas Paine, Buddy Holly, Charles Lindbergh and others had to the area. We’ll stop at the Jefferson Market Courthouse and afterwards see two of the most charming blocks in the Village. The walk is less than a mile. Bring your camera and a water bottle and there is a restroom at the start. The walk will be approximately ninety minutes. You may bring a small pet . Hope to see you.
