Starting in front of Jane Jacobs’ house, CNU NYC Chair John Massengale will review what Jacobs said about cars and streets, and then lead a walking tour of Greenwich Village to look at what the NYC DOT is doing today. What would Jane think? That will be the topic of the night, following the New York Rules of Order, meaning anyone may talk at anytime.
Massengale is co-author of Street Design (Wiley) and New York 1900 (Rizzoli).
