“El-spaces” are the areas found under elevated highways, trains, or bridges, and they are often contentious places. They tend to divide communities and can be seen as dangerous or dirty. However, this walk includes three examples of how El-spaces can be used as a positive force to add public space in cities that desperately need it. Join us for an on-location peek at Under the K in Brooklyn, The Bentway in Toronto, and The Underline in Miami.
