Visit Key Spots in MAS History during OHNY Weekend

September 21, 2018

MAS is proud to serve as a featured organization in the 2018 Open House New York (OHNY) Weekend. The annual OHNY Weekend, scheduled this year for October 12-14, is a citywide celebration of architecture, urban design, and New York City. Every October, more than 250 buildings and projects across New York’s five boroughs—from infrastructure facilities to cultural spaces and from workspaces to private residences—open their doors to the public for tours and talks with architects, urban designers, historians, preservationists, and city leaders.

This year, in honor of our 125th anniversary year, we have curated a series of iconic sites throughout New York City where the advocacy of MAS helped preserve, shape, or reimagine our City’s built environment. From Fresh Kills Park to Times Square, our 2018 OHNY series celebrates places where MAS has worked to educate and inspire New Yorkers to engage in the betterment of our city.

Visit the OHNY website for more information about the MAS125 Series, and see the full listing of sites “Open” for the 2018 Weekend.
