Jane Jacobs (1916-2006) was an urban planner, author, and activist. This Urban Archive tour, created for the 2020 “Jane’s Walk NYC (from Home)” weekend, explores several historic sites in Greenwich Village that embody the life and legacy of Jane Jacobs in different ways.
The sites on this tour are sidewalk accessible, if explored in person. They can also be accessed virtually on a computer or smartphone.
RSVP is required and capacity is limited. Meeting location, ending location, and directions will be provided via email before walk date.
