New Public Art Commissions: La Guardia Airport, Newark Airport, and Grand Central Madison

La Guardia Airport as well as Newark Airport have recently renovated part of their terminals and included leading contemporary artists’ work. In Manhattan, Grand Central Terminal just opened its new connection for the LIRR, dubbed Grand Central Madison, and proudly displays majestic mosaic murals by Kiki Smith and Yayoi Kusama, both most valuable additions to NYC’s Public Art.
