The Remember the Triangle Fire Coalition will meet Jane’s walkers at the infamous Asch Building , site of the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory Fire corner of Washington Place & Greene Street, 1 block East of Washington Square Park). At the site the docent will describe the 1911 tragedy and its outcomes for its victims, and share stories about the owners and survivors, the quest for justice, and the public art memorial now approved by NYC Landmarks.
